Sixth Asia Pacific Conference of Young Scientists 2017 to be held in Nepal
Oct 30, 2017-The sixth Asia Pacific Conference of Young Scientists (APCYS 2017) is going to be held in Nepal which is scheduled for Nov 1-5, 2017 in Park Village Resort, Kathmandu.
This mega meeting will be hosted by Research Centre for Applied Science and Technology (RECAST), Tribhuvan University, Nepal Polymer Institute (NPI), National Adhering Organisation (NAO) of the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC) and Brianycube Research Organisation in cooperation with Ministry of Science and Technology (MoST), Nepal Academy of Science and Technology (NAST), National Youth Council (NYC), Pokhara University, Kathmandu University, Kathmandu Centre for Genomics and Research Laboratory and University Grants Commission (UGC), Nepal.
The previous conferences were organised in Indonesia, Taiwan, Malaysia and India. Adhikari further added that, this year’s conference is going to be hosted by Nepal with the slogan ‘Our young scientists: Our strength, our hope’.
The mega event looks forward to providing a platform to students, and young researchers of various dynamics of research fields like chemistry, material sciences, physics, mathematics, engineering, and related biomedical sciences. The conference will be attended by 11 countries of Asia Pacific region.
Seventeen scientific projects representing different high schools across the country will represent and compete for various medals in the conference. During the presentation, each project will be judged by the team of international jury which will award top presentation with medals.
According to the organizers, the conference will see the eminent scientists and professors from various field of research science. The event is scheduled to be inaugurated on November 2, 2017.
